Beach Model Photoshoot

This is the first photoshoot I have done with my new camera. I bought the Canon 5D mark 11. It was second hand, but a low shutter count, so it looked like new. I used my 50ml 1.4 lens.

I was hoping for an assistant, but they cancelled so it was me and the model, fighting the wind trying to hold the reflector while trying to shoot. Jen was amazing, even though there was a chilly wind, she didn’t moan once. We shot a few different outfits in different areas of the beach to give us  some variety.

I kept the makeup quite neutral, as this wasn’t about the makeup (this time). I did a bronzed smokey eye with a bronze lip. The hair was just softly curled.
