Beauty shoot with Lauren

I have taken photo’s of Lauren before, so when she came in work experience I had to create a shoot for her. Lauren is an aspiring model with strong features and over 6 foot tall.

We started with the makeup in my studio. I used Zoeva cosmetics Matt spectrum eyeshadow palette to create this vivid orange/ pink look. The lips were MUA Luxe velvet lip laquer in Zest from superdrug. Hair was just pulled back loosely in a pony tail.

I used Face photography studio, which was perfect for a beauty shoot. Mark was very helpful in helping me set up the lights. We used  one light with a diffuser and a white and black back ground. I used my Canon 5D markiii wit my Sigma lens 28-75 F2.8 lens and a Canon 50mm lens 1.4  for the outside shots.

After the the beauty shots we had lunch and changed the look a little with a different lipstick and curled Lauren’s hair. A quick change of clothes and we went out into town. We found a few backdrops in town before heading back.
