Hairstyle Photoshoot

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This shoot was great fun. Hair boutique in Truro asked me to take some photos for their salon promotions, which I agreed. I brought some of my makeup team to help out on the makeup.

Shoot

I love the look of Toni & Guy’s adverts with the clean white background. This is what I based it on. We had 4 models with different hair styles. I used my canon 5D mark 111 with my sigma lens 24-70mm f2.8. I had one studio light and in my little beauty room/studio.

Makeup/styling

I wanted the makeup to kept simple. I chose a smokey brown eye with a red lip. I wanted the look to be similar on all the models.  The styling was simple black and white vests to keep the shoot about the makeup and hair.

I put together a short film showing the behind the scenes of the shoot. I hope you enjoy.
