I love the look of Marie Antoinette. Its such a romantic look perfect for a wedding. I wanted to put together a bridal shoot inspired by this look. Its tricky in Cornwall to find an eighteenth century house, but the Old Vicorage was a great substitute. It has a large conservatory with lots of light, which was perfect for the setting, but the bedrooms were fantastic as well. This was the first time I had put together a shoot this big and to be honest I was a bit nervous. There was so many lovely things that were given to me to shoot that I wanted to show them off at their best. I hope I did that for them.

I did the makeup in two stages. The first look was more wearable and the second more editorial. I used an airbrush to lighten the models skin and her eyebrows, which are usually dark. I also used it in the hair to take any yellow tones out.
The shoot is now published in Cornish brides magazine. Check out the online magazine at: http://www.cornishbrides.co.uk/magazine/
