Its always nerve racking doing another makeupartist’s wedding makeup. Sarah always looks amazing, so I wanted to come up with a look that suited Sarah and her dress, but also bring in some glamour.
Sarah’s dress from Amanda K was stunning. It had a slight colour to it under the lace that gave it a vintage feel and the lace looked beautiful on the top and the sleeves. It fitted her perfectly.
With Sarah’s makeup I chose warm toned colours for her eyeshadows. Also Sarah was tanned so warmer colours suited her complexion. I used airbase makeup for the foundation, as I find it adheres well to the skin and looks great on the camera. I used my trusty Ardell lashes in wispies, which always look great and mascara over the top. I chose a soft pink blusher from Nars called Blasphemy and Faux by Mac on her lips. I also did the bridesmaids makeup and the mother of the bride.
Trevenna Barns is such a lovely venue especially if you are lucky with the weather and can get married out side. Being April I wasn’t sure Sarah could, but it worked out for her and the photo’s looked amazing with the sun in the background.
Congratulations Sarah, it was lovely to be a part of your big day. 🙂
