Skin Tips and Tricks Before The BIG Day

There is no day more important than your wedding for perfect skin. Not only do you want your face to be the perfect canvas for bridal makeup, you want to make sure every inch of your skin is absolutely flawless. This is not an easy feat, and not something that can be done overnight – but it absolutely is possible. Starting a skin care routine will give you everything you need to be feeling perfect for your perfect day.  Here are some tips to consider when making your own skin care regimen.

Hydration

For your body, it is of the utmost importance to stay hydrated. If you are staying generally healthy, your skin will reflect that natural glow. Drinking lots of water is absolutely essential – and staying away from processed foods and getting in some exercise will show a huge difference in the appearance of your skin. Getting a decent amount of sleep won’t hurt either. Other than that, its always good to hydrate your skin with a body lotion, which will help you glow and have softer skin all over.

Sun Exposure

And we know when you’re wearing a white dress that you’ll more than likely want to be a little sunkissed, but be sure not to over do it. Frying yourself outside or in a tanning bed can be dangerous and cause long term damage, so just do this in moderation, and always wear sunscreen so you don’t dry out your skin. If you’re going to get a spray tan, don’t let the day before the wedding be the first time. It’s best to do a trial run if at all possible for most things before the week of your big day. A spray tan can look great, but if not done correctly, can be disastrous. So be careful with your tan!

Plan Ahead

Do you have weight loss goals? Do you want to let your hair grow out? Do you want to have flawless skin? All of these things take time, so the most important thing you can do for yourself while getting ready for your big day is to organize yourself and get into healthy routines. If you want to exercise and lose some weight – start a regimen and stick to it. The same is with your skin – find a skin care system that is right for you and stick to it every morning and every night. If you want a particular hairstyle you want on that day, give yourself the time to grow it out so you can look perfect. Rushing into anything will prevent you from the day that you want, and there’s no reason to have the dream wedding you’ve always wanted.

No day is too soon to start taking care of your skin for your wedding day, so make sure you give yourself enough time to achieve your long term goals of getting that flawless skin. You want to glow on your wedding day, so just follow these simple tips and you will be a beautiful bride!
