I arrived at Scorrier house in the early hours of the morning in late spring. Kirsty and her friends and family had been staying in the venue overnight. I went upstairs to st my makeup up next to the large window overlooking the gardens. I did the makeup for all Kirsty’s bridesmaids and her mom.
For Kirsty’s makeup went for a smokey eye and a flawless skin. I kept the tones cool, to compliment the spring blues that were around her and her flowers.

The “Sunny St. Ives Wedding” post paints a lovely picture of a spring wedding at Scorrier House. Sally Orchard’s description of the morning, arriving early to set up by the window with a view of the gardens, creates a serene atmosphere. The detail about doing makeup for the bridesmaids and Kirsty’s mom adds a personal touch, making it clear how much care went into each look.
The mention of Kirsty’s smokey eye and flawless skin, paired with cool tones to complement the spring blues, highlights a thoughtful approach to makeup, perfectly matching the season and setting. It’s great to see how the makeup is tailored to suit both the bride and the environment. The entire post feels warm and personal, offering a glimpse into the care that went into making the day special for the bride and her loved ones.
