I get such a buzz from seeing my work in print especially my photography, as I am still learning. This shoot was a challenge. The weather was freezing and raining, so the models did great trying to look like they weren’t frozen. I didn’t manage to get as many photo’s as I wanted on the first day so I did another shoot that week with another model and another outfit, except this day was also raining and didn’t stop for 5 hours hence why there are a few studio photos mixed in with the location.
Getting my hands on vintage sixties clothing was a challenge, which I found out when looking. They are scarce or very expensive, but Modo Trasho lent me some pieces and helped me put together the looks. kerry Prynn did a fantastic job on the hair and Chloe helped with the makeup. I have added the photo’s from the two shoots showing the hair and makeup and the location shoots.
Over all I am pleased with the finished look. Charlotte Cooper from Vintage life magazine did an interesting article to go with the photo’s and getting a 4 page spread is fantastic!
I would love any comments you have, as it all helps for the next shoot.
